Employee cards

Charles University (“CU”) identification cards, which bear the University’s name and logo (including as a hologram), serve as proof of the holder’s employment with Charles University and one of its Faculties or other associated parts (the name of which is printed on the card).

Cards issued by the CU Card Service Centres (to students, employees, and external service users) that confirm a valid relationship with the Faculty of Science, Charles University, allow holders to access buildings using chip identification devices during hours of closure.

If an employee has employment contracts with more than one Faculty or parts of Charles University, the employee card will be issued to them from each workplace and secured using the CU information system. When their employment is terminated, the employee must return the employee card.
