The standard weekly working time for a full-time employee (1.0 FTE) is 40 hours.
The Faculty applies a flexible working hours system.
The core working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the flexible periods are from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The maximum length of a single shift must not exceed 12 hours.
Academic staff members have their working hours determined primarily by their teaching schedule, and they organise the remainder of their working time in accordance with their other academic duties.
Employees with a part-time workload, those working as DPP or DPČ, and building maintenance staff follow specific working time rules set for their positions.
When on a business trip, the standard schedule of working hours does not apply.
•Breaks During Working Hours
Employees are entitled to a 30-minute break for rest and meals, which is not counted as part of working time.
The break must be granted no later than after six consecutive hours of work.
•Overtime Work
Overtime is recognized and compensated only if it exceeds the standard working hours and is performed upon the order or with the consent of the supervisor.
